57 Records Label Launch Party @ HERO NYC 3/22 - Official Invite
57 RECORDS IS BORN—and you’re invited :)
Join us March 22nd at HERO NYC for our most significant celebration yet
Dear friend,
For five years, our community has gathered to celebrate creativity in all its forms. The music that has fueled our late nights, inspired our conversations, and soundtracked our most meaningful moments is now finding a home: 57 RECORDS.
We invite you to join us for the label’s official launch, coinciding with the release of HWIN’s debut EP “Just Like a Flower” (out March 21st). This milestone deserves an extraordinary setting - HERO NYC, the immersive venue that recently hosted The Weeknd’s album celebration.
What makes this night special:
Experience music shaped by our community, tested and refined through countless nights together
Witness custom visuals designed specifically for the EP on HERO’s towering LED environments
DJ sets from HWIN and special guests from the 57 community
The perfect kickoff to spring after our winter hibernation
Our most ambitious event to date

🎶 HWIN - "Just Like a Flower" EP
Oozy, yet propulsive. Intimate, yet anthemic. Hwin’s debut solo EP “Just Like a Flower” blooms with beautiful contradictions, a collision of contrasts.
Drawing from rock to electronica, folk to techno, “Just Like a Flower” refracts Hwin’s diverse styles through the prism of his past, converging into a singular voice that’s distinctly his: sultry and tender.
The result, as heard on his debut EP, is music that’s as introspective as it is explosive, as nostalgic as it is forward-looking. It’s an invitation to leave for the club—and an invocation to stay in your feels.
---
"Just Like a Flower" is the debut EP of Johnny Hwin—singer/songwriter/producer of the band Cathedrals, which the New York Times describes as "synthetic R&B with 1980s rock swagger,"—and follows debut single Metropolis Heights, released on Rose Avenue Records last year.
With Cathedrals, Hwin's productions have garnered over 60M+ streams, press hits in Billboard, VICE, SPIN, Fader, and Paste Magazine's "Best of What's Next"—in addition to major syncs including Amazon Prime's Jack Ryan, Marvel's Cloak and Dagger, and Netflix's Fistful of Vengeance. This year, Hwin will be releasing his solo record, a blend of emotive, melodic house and techno influenced electronica combined with his signature evocative, indie-influenced vocals and songwriting.
